Discover why our customers choose us.
Quality control is crucial for metal additive manufacturing (AM) to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of your final parts.
With a visible and traceable production history, any part you commission with us is poised and ready to gain industry acceptance.
In manufacturing settings, like milling, turning or grinding, you have a two-stage quality control process: the material or billet passes through quality control before cutting, and the part geometry is inspected afterwards.
With our stringent QMS system, we endeavour to remove the risks associated with Metal AM.
The short answer is no, we can’t qualify parts.
For the most part, the client and the design authority qualify parts in any given sector. Metal additive manufacturing subcontractors are generally not the ones to qualify a part.
Depending on the industry sector and end application, there will be different qualification requirements set by the customer, e.g., API20S.
Working together with Additure, we can define and implement the statement of work and control plan to meet the stringent industry requirements throughout the end-to-end manufacturing process.
